Below are vintage fishing lures in my collection that were produced under the name & patent of the iconic lure maker “G.M. Skinner“. While many (but not all) of them are relatively common, Skinner’s lures had an undeniable impact on the fishing tackle industry. They were so effective that they had an almost unmatched production life from the mid-1870’s to about the early 1970’s (just getting started, lots more to be added regularly):
